Abstract	The article is devoted to defining challenges of covered investigative actions legal regulation. The author analyzes the European Court of Human Rights case-law concerning the correct application of Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. Moreover, it presents the proposals concerning the improvement of legal framework for covered investigative actions.
